Has anyone else noticed...

How bl88dy hot the carbon trim kit has been getting with the sun we've had the last few days? When shifting gear (lazy DCT owners excluded ) I've been catching the piece up by the ebrake with my forearm...damn! I know interiors get hot in this type of weather but i've never had a car with a trim kit which conducts heat like this.

That was a common complaint in American reviews. One of the reasons we opted for wood trim.

Bet my piano black gets even hotter!

But I dare not touch it as I live in constant fear of scratching it!

No ways would you see me/the wife (under strict instruction) catching any part of it.

No problems with the pure white design interior, and as a lazy DCT owner, I've done little than take it out of park and floored it

Flappy paddles warm up nicely in the sun tho...

the silver effect trim seems fine but i havent touched it when hot so cant say for sure
