Hartbeat Sound after Upgrading Media

I upgraded my 2011 to a new media display unfortunately, I now have a heartbeat noise coming through the speakers even with the car turned off. Could a faulty AUX(center console) be causing this.

A little bit more information may be helpful here.
eg; What was it before, and what is it now? A few specs, and even better a photo or two and owners may be able to help, but currently it could be absolutely anything in the world!!
Nothing was standard from BMW for the E89, so we've no idea as to what you started with, and what have you changed it to, OEM or aftermarket?
