Harness & bucket seats

Hello fellas & gals.

Anyone fitted a harness in their coupe and if so how?

The oem seat are rubbish at holding you in and despite my 194 cm (6"3) i fing my dring posture pushing my knees against the sides to not moce zround so much- specifically on track. Such a tense posture is not so good.

Any advice and solutions would be appreciated.

There used to be a guy called sixspeed who had done this to his M coupe..... And just about every other mod. Story goes that his car got an asbo because of the grupp M intake!!

Someone else did this to his roadster... Recently sold it and got an e89 to play with. Can't remember his username right now, but IIRC he is in Sweden or Finland :?

Will have a poke around and see if I can find his thread...

It is a great thread, you will enjoy it despite you being a coupe driver :D

One of our US members has fitted a driver's bucket seat in a coupe because he tracks it a lot and had the same issue as you are experiencing.

Recently i posted a video of this car with static noise, i found this today, which probably contributed to the car getting the asbo!

Awesome!

The intake noise it makes when it's coming towards you reminds me of my old Z4M when it had the AFE intake fitted. Great sound.

I saw six speed fly past me doing way over 120 on the m25 a few years ago, I remember thinking I wanted his number plate!
