Weissman hardtop for Z4 E85, ???? do they exist ???? I know for Z3 no problem

Only non OEM hardtop I know of is the one made by D. Moris Styling in France: http://www.d-moris-equipments.com/hardtop-z4---photos.html. Not my cup of tea but I guess it's a matter of taste.

There is also a cover top (you fit it on the soft top closed) made by Ateliers Composites de Bourgogne, also in France (we love the Z4 apparently): http://acb-hardtop.pagesperso-orange.fr/Z4.html. This one looks closer to the OEM hardtop but being fitted on top of the soft top it has a weird bump near the top of the windshield.

Looks nasty, totally ruins the lines of the roadster, if I wanted the hatch back, I would buy one
What happens to the boot ??

I dunno fred, but i guess it may be rendered 'operationally non-functional' lol
And i dont think it looks that nasty being home-brewed. Lots of skill, time and patience has gone into that little project i think.

That guy was a legend - disappeared in Sep 2015 unfortunately

Adding up the money on the "coupe" hardtop I think you could buy an extra car. $4000 to make the part, add rear hatch from a real coupe, another bumper to modify, add paint, fittings and whatever else he forgot to mention ???? not cheap. Think I"ll contact Weissman again, see if they have one, but many thanks for introducing me to Frankensteins bride and her mates. :))

I'd personally just go with a Coupe for all the hassle, but then again all that time and effort and he's got something completely unique. Certainly Built, Not Bought.

the hours and effort this guy has put in can compensate for any dimensional inaccuracies in my book anyday of the week!
true, it aint perfect as a replication of the coupe but don't tell me you didn't have to look close/twice to see it...
