So what are peoples opinions on here for the colour of a hardtop, should it match the colour of your car, or should it contrast it, love to hear your opinions as always

Its funny, because most of us drive around with a black soft top, I know there are exceptions but that doesn't seem right on a hardtop

I'm a big fan of black hard tops.

What about a mohair coated hard top, all the benefits, but still looks soft :tumbleweed:

black works really well, as well as the same colour if not better imo... Really gives the car a nice look too, again as said before makes it really easy to sell on too! win win.

I saw an E46 in titanium silver which had a darker grey hardtop on that looked good, and I'm actually tempted to do it to mine.

I know your thinking why pay extra for a mismatched hardtop but its actually not that difficult for me, I bought it wrapped in matt black vinyl thinking it was titanium silver underneath, I even removed the vinyl off the spoiler and didn't notice the difference straight away as its so far from the car, but realised when I took it off that its actually a sterling grey roof so I could just unwrap for the two tone silver grey look
