Hardtop colour same as car or different

Not a colour combination I would have chosen, but I picked up my new hardtop, courtesy of a fellow forum member £725 for everything including a stand and a cover, couldn't afford to pass it by at that price. Still not sure if I am going to get it re-sprayed, actually like the contrast of the two colours, but not to every persons taste I am sure.

Mine's colour coded, but I think a matt black top would also work. I don't like the shiny blacks with other colours. I also don't think a carbon wrap would work... but haven't seen one yet.

matching or a complete contrast. Black top on a grey car for example.

I saw a very strange blue on blue combo the other day on here and I'm afraid that looked completely awful.
I'd still always try and find one that matches though.

I have a sterling grey preface lift Zed and bought a hardtop a few months ago in titanium silver as the seller was local to me.

It's transformed the look of the car. Very happy.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the re-spray?

I paid £430, they took all the liner out so it's sprayed grey on the inside edges and also removed the rear window as the paint spray needs to get into a narrow channel down each side of the window. Great colour match too which is hard to capture on pics as at different angles the colour changes shades.
