Hi all,

So I collected my new hardtop from Dan this morning and now I need to decide what I’m going to do with it.

My thoughts are to wrap in black, along with the A pillers and potentially Wing Mirror.

Or I could have it painted the same colour as the car.

What are people thoughts?

Mine is sterling grey with body coloured roof. I have always imagined it would look quite good matt black with the A pillars and mirrors to match. Although wouldn't want to go to the expense of actually trying it just to find out it doesn't.

I tried to get mine wrapped last year. But the guy who ran the business said he would struggle to do a good job and recommend that I get it painted......which I did. Maybe he just didn't want the business, but he seemed a nice guy and a a thorough look at the hardtop before making his decision.

Black!
And retain their value as can be used with any other colour Zed

Out of interest why was this? Was the area of coverage too large? As in would need two sheets and splice together? Or wrapping around spoiler? Because the spoiler comes off...

I had it stripped down so he could see what was involved, spoiler off and roof lining out. He simply thought he wouldn't be able to do a job he would be happy with. I had quotes from other places via email that had only seen photos....but this guy spent 10 minutes assessing the job. Maybe he was too fussy or inexperienced..... but he seemed very genuine.
I got it painted in the end and it is perfect.

Dpends on the budget..... Wrap it if you want a couple years before you need to repaint, if you have the bread ready then paint it immediately.....
