Happy chap - fixed my Nav

Happy chap today. Replaced the DVD pickup laser in my Nav mk4 DVD drive.

Now reads every CD and DVD I can throw at it, including my burnt backup copies.

It's now much quicker than it was previously, the old laser was obviously getting very lazy!

Nice to have working decent Nav again :D
 
Yep, nice and easy to do. Lots of good posts on xoutpost.com in the navigation forum about it if anyone wants to try it.

Just make sure you've got some VERY small torx screwdrivers!!
