Handling & ride improved on 3.0i SE fitted with

I have just found out that I have 2.2i rear springs fitted to what should be my M Sport suspension on my 3.0iSE.

If I change them back to the M Sport springs what would be the improvement I could expect?

Would I be better to change to Eibach springs or is this OTT?

Yes, all 3.0i came with M Sport suspension unless non-sport was ordered. I have seen the original spec print-out of my Zed from BMW and it clearly states M Sport suspension.

Ah OK, well there you go, you learn something every day. I always thought that the Si Sport came with M Sport suspension and interior parts, and that the SE had more comfortable non Sport suspension and lounge seats

My si se came with m sport suspension & seats from new as well, the only difference that I can see between my car & the si sport is the steering wheel.
Regards

Good News, the BMW dealer who fitted the wrong springs 4 years ago for a previous owner has agreed to change the springs to the M Sport ones FOC.

It will be interesting to feel the difference when it's done!

You are referring to facelift that were either Sport or SE spec (unless optioned either way with suspension)

Pre Facelifts there was only SE spec and 3.0i came with M Sport springs.
