Had a prang, aftermath.

Just a follow up regarding a post I made a couple of months back after a smack I had to my front side left. Well, I've had a bit of a result, after searching eBay for two months I've come up super trumps! Found a perfect bumper and left front wing in my original colour titan silver, what a flipping result! So as soon as I get a weekend clear these two item will be going straight back on the zed, bring it back to life, restoring it to its former glory, happy days :-)

Talking of fitting, anyone done this before, any secrets? Looks fairly straightforward, however the fixing clips look to be tricky though? Cheers.

As you can see the skirt needs to come off and the rest is easy to. Get to two of the three bolts in the door jam through the indicator hole.

If you need anymore info just let me know.

@srhutch holy crap, awesome! I had a feeling the indicator had to come out because the bolt head is internal, haven't looked at your link yet but hoe does the skirt come off?

You jammy sod, well done for the bits especially the right colour, total bonus, make sure you talk to Srhutch, will be good to see her back to former glory. Baz

Haha, a day by day search on eBay paid off. And to top it off, how much I hear you ask? £285 delivered to my door undamaged, super well packaged and for both the bumper, with all the grills and lights and the left wing with indicator! :D

Bloody hell that would have cost you a few grand at the stealers well done :D

That's why I practically ripped the sellers arm off, I didn't even haggle the price. Just got to fit them now, hopefully that will go well, I'll post photos as soon as I begin the swap.

Just a thought, I've been thinking recently of making some visual tweaks to the zed especially now that I have my new bits to bring it back to top notch. So I'm thinking a 20-30mm drop is in order, any recommendations regarding springs, eibach, h&r what do you reckon, would like to keep a stock feel although I appreciate that lowering generally means a harder ride?
