Can any one help me, I've just got hold of some boge shocks, front and back and new meyle control arms and bushes and I'm thinking of fitting them with some H&R springs I purchased ages ago. The car is a standard 2.5 non sport.
My question is, will they be ok ride wise with the standard (new) shocks. If it helps I probably only cover 1500 miles a year, it's purely for cosmetic reasons as I think standard it looks way to high, I'm running 224 alloy style with 255/35/18 rear and 225/40/18 front. I know the shocks don't last as long, but the price I got the new shocks for, were to cheap to turn down. Also if I still have the car in a couple of years would swap out to coil overs, however suspect that I will have upgraded/changed by then.
Anyone have H&R'S fitted that could comment on the ride quality, I'd love to have real experienced views. All comments greatly appreciated.
