Just watching this on TV, I know it is subjective but I think the Spitfire is the most beautiful thing with an engine ever made.

I don't think I've watched a Guy Martin programme that I haven't enjoyed to date!

I struggle to see it as the original plane though, bit like triggers broom really.

He's a natural on TV and his enthusiasm and genuine interest shines out the TV - brilliant viewing!

Yes, and there's nowt wrong with that. We need new characters in our otherwise boring "ready made" world. Guy is a natural successor to Dibnah, he's better on a motorbike though

I think Guy Martin is Fred Dibnah's love child.

He was on the local loch last week doing the speed record for a hovercraft of all things.
