Gunmetal CSL's

After salivating over those gorgeous New York Docks images uploaded last week, I'm in the mood to get my 3.0 a set of CSL's. Went to EAS in the US but have been quoted nearly $3000 with tyres but less import tax. So, I'm on a mission to try and find a set of staggered 18 or 19" CSL wheels in gunmetal here in the UK (or possibly Europe somewhere). If anyone has any good suggestions on where I can find a set that would be great; I keep looking at my standard twinspoke 17's and they just aren't cutting it after seeing those pics

Have checked MStyle (they only have the silver), and a great site for alloys I stumbled across called http://wheelsworldwide.co.uk/, but so far no luck - although I have emailed both too.

Thanks in advance! :D

... btw, I realise they're in Black, but at 1k for tyres and wheels seems pretty good to me. And I can give details of the place that just re-furbished my CSLs in Gunmetal/Shadow Chrome for £230 all in.

Interesting. Sixspeed, what are the details of the refurb place you use? Sounds like a good place to have as reference.

X2 - great price! Was it Lepsons?

You could try Prestige Wheels in Birmingham, I think they were offering quality reps refurbed in any colour you fancy for £600 through an M3 cutters discount. Have a look on their forum - I think the poster's name was Sonny and the feedback was very positive. Hopefully they might have some in standard Z4 fitment. I was mighty tempted but managed to get some genuine CSLs instead.

Try Mark at :
http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/

always have a stack of OEM and replicas in. He also knows if it will fit or not (ie M offsets, none M offsets etc)

Here you go :

http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/detail.php?siteid=1588

staggered, 19's, Std Z4 fitment, £599 without tyres, stock due mid may

Thanks all. I'm investigating all options above and will report back my findings.

Refurb place here. BJV Engineering. Based near Hemel Hempstead. Was dubious due to the price, but came out just as good as when I had them done last time by Spit"n'Polish, for twice the price!

Really good value - and can't recommend them enough. :)

They look pretty good and those prices are great. Plus not too far for me to travel. Thanks Sixspeed.

I used the very same firm for my Borbet As, they get a lot of trade through the Corrado Forum as they are always highly recommended

Yeah, I think they're big in the VW scene... were several tidy Golfs parked up outside, obviously left waiting for wheels to be re-finished.

Yeah they always have a lot of Dubs about, that;'s usually a good rule of thumb that they offer a good service :) Plus they are just 20 minutes down the road from me.

I got my Borbets done there 2 years ago and actually followed two other Corrados into the car park, not bad considering I only see other Corrados once every 3-4 months 8)
