Anyone used gummi pflege to stop leakage around the seals? I was driving earlier, looked across and my passenger side handle was suddenly dripping. Not ideal!
I use it as conditioner for the seals to stop them drying out and keep them supple - not specifically to stop leaks but keeping the seal supple should result in a better contact
Thanks for that I'll have a look as it might cut down on road noise. The seal along the a frame doesn't meet up neatly with the one from the roof so I was wondering if the goop might help.
I've found that it's helped a little with wind noise - and it's a good idea his time of year anyway - but you really need to get the window adjustment and door/rear wing alignment sorted for a perfect seal.
Gummi smells pretty good too. Think I have a mild chemical addiction to that, poorboys wheel sealant and gliptone... :?
I'll definitely be giving it a go; nothing to lose and I'll do the window adjustment at the same time. Haha MrPT that's ok, I've got an odd fascination with the smell of Nanolex.
I used this on my old 120d for its notorious squeaky window seals. Worked like a dream! Not used it for sealing issues though, didn't notice any variation there. Good stuff though.
