This is a very odd problem I'm experiencing.

In the industrial estate where my company is based, there are a lot of seagulls (and birds of other variety). Every day that I return to my car during my lunchbreak and when finishing, my car is covered in guano. Strangely both door mirrors appear to be the main targets, but the splash damage extends to the windows and doors. Upon returning to the car one evening, I noticed that there was a figure perched on one of the door mirrors. It flew away as I approached the vehicle.

So it seems that birds have been perching on my door mirrors every day and freely poo-pooing as they please on my car! I've never had this with any of my other cars that I bring to work! Does the Z4 come with a guano magnet as standard?

Any suggestions as to how to reduce the bird poop effect? I have to wash the car twice a day now just because of this and it's becoming tiresome...
 
Catch a male one of those flying rats, rip out it's innards and stuff an oversized vibrator up the rear end of the little focker, then connect a PIR (i.e. a movement sensor) to the vibrator and then stick the bird and all the bits onto the roof of your car :thumbsup:

Next time one of its relatives comes near yer motor, the movement sensor sets off the vibrator and the nearest gulls see that its getting a right royal shafting from the rear by a gigantic vibrator, :wink: bet ya none of them come anywhere near yer motor again - unless of course they are Brighton Gulls and then they steal the vibrator, use it till it runs out of juice, then s**t all over yer car :rofl:
 
I have the same issue with both of my cars at home every summer. Young birds take a like to looking at themselves in the door mirrors and poohing all over the doors. The only solution so far is a sock over the door mirror. I also bought a oem roof cover for my z4 which also covers the mirrors :-)
 
You have bats leaving guano on your car??! Seagulls just shite! Lol

Someone must be feeding them nearby or they are nesting in close proximity to your car.
 
I could lend you the f*****g cat that sleeps on the roof of ours......solve both our problems. :x
