GT3 Recreation in the wild...

I just want to clarify why I think it's awesome.

It's a track car and I think would be awesome on the track. It's only convenient that it works on the road to get you to/from.

Unfortunately doesn't mention anything about an LSD, an oversight when trying to make a track car IMO. Did the 35i have one as standard?

No they didn’t Dan, and you’ve got big nads throwing a 500bhp E89, if that’s what it really has, around a track without one and what look like standard brakes too imho....! :o :o

Ah okay. Well it would definitely need one before track use. And I wouldn't own that car for use on the road only.

Some poor sod paid over £25k for that. The advert mentions it produces 500hp but that's clearly a lie as the only functional hardware upgrades are an intercooler, the rest is stickers and a s**t bodykit.

The new owner would be lucky to see 400hp on a generous dyno.

It would be amazing to put the GT3 V8 into a 35iS, perhaps with some very subtle hints in the body work.

That would be a euro millions win project I am sure.

That Lotus is truly nasty, why ruin a lovely looking car ?
As for Tesla's, yes, they are very quick but pretty boring IMHO. No noise, just a whine. I'm not into F1, but I would watch the the petrol version all day, compared to the Scalextric version. It's the sound and feeling you get from a petrol/Diesel engine.

Well I thought the GT3 recreation looked a bit of an eyesore, but that Lotus takes tasteless to a whole new level! :o

The Lotus seems to be for the Time Attack series borne out by the kitty litter on the trailer when he went off...so looks aren’t important. No idea if the ‘Add ons’ are an enthusiast’s random attempt at downforce or actually have some benefit though. :?

I just cant figure out what the hell goes on in some peoples head, never mind if they have eyes to see what a balls up they are making of nice cars, in fact that Lotus has lost 50% of its value, shames they are an appreciating classic these days.
