GT3 Recreation in the wild...

I love these. Was looking the other day at a company which will do the conversion including adding a V8, either an American crate engine or a BMW. Would have to have the BMW V8 for the sound

Was for sale last year, not my cup of tea personally but each to their own

Each to their own of course....personally I couldn’t drive that bodykitted standard 35i in daylight....how much of a tit would you feel..... :o

Hey ho. Not very subtle. But if it your thing why not. :?

I don't know! Stands out less than the one in Martini Le Mans paintwork [and no I'm not going to risk my eyes by pasting a photo here after seeing it in the wild]

Apart from the oversized front lip that makes it look like a JCB and the fact that its black which makes it look smaler & means you cannot really see any of the contours and it looks ok I think.
Would I drive it? Oh hell no, the age limit for looking cool in this is around 19.
The other thing is of course no matter how cool, aggressive, fast your gas car looks its still gonna get shat on by a tesla family 4 door with 4 people in it and a boot full of shopping..... (Tesla model S Plaid). I counted 12 Teslas in 35 minutes driving in Plymouth yesterday, times they are a changing......... Sadly

I have seen a Martini liveried E89 with my own eyes. It looked very nice, but again not for me. It's the wings and splitters that Just don't sit right on a fairly standard road car. They always look fake how ever real they may in fact be. I guess becaise they are out of context with their surrounding's.

Ahhhh if we can take the shovel off the front, windsurf board off the back and peel the decals off it would look good...still needs some Scania pipes out back and a V8 though.... :P

 That was my polite way of saying that............. for those 30 seconds I was feeling in a charitable mood

I just want to clarify why I think it's awesome.

It's a track car and I think would be awesome on the track. It's only convenient that it works on the road to get you to/from.

Unfortunately doesn't mention anything about an LSD, an oversight when trying to make a track car IMO. Did the 35i have one as standard?
