GROM USB3 in trunk

To all Zed owners with a GROM USB3 interface connected to CD changer cables in trunk of E85:

Where do you put the GROM interface itself? When put in trunk: How do you lead the USB cable into cockpit? Please let me know.

I would like to connect a GROM USB3 (NOT BT3) in the trunk using the available 3 and 6 pin connections meant for the CD changer (which is not present). USB because of sound quality for streaming from Iphone using USB cable. Present: Hifi system professional DSP.
Thanks for your reactions in advance! Friendly greetings from The Netherlands.
