Grom Unit USB3

Hi guys, have read many posts on this unit and about to purchase. I have delved into the boot and found the 3 & 6 pin plugs that are attached to the existing CD unit, so assume it is a case of removing these and plugging into the Grom unit?

How have others run a USB lightning cable from the Grom to inside the vehicle, as it all look a little tight?

Answered my own question.......having looked again there is the tiniest of gaps into the cubby - Done it, now get the unit ordered!
