grills questions

grey and chrome for me

when i changed mine to black i noticed it is possible to change just the outer rim of the grill, this would suggest that providing you buy the colours you want you could have any combo.
 
Does anybody have any pictures of black Zs with different colour grills?

For some reason I doubted that there would be a thread with different pictures of black Zs.

I love this site :D

I think I'll go for crome edges with black grills :thumbsup:

Haha. I'd never suspect you now that you've said you'd do it. :P

There not as cheap as I thought they'd be!! Was hoping for a £30 bargain here.

Ok cool thanks for that, would the best place for the inserts be fleabay or dealer?
 
ebay, i guess yo have to buy the whole grill and then change according to the combo you want.

i sold my black/chrome grills for £35 when i swapped for black. the black only cost me £20 so that was a bit of a bargain lol :P

Have to say i really like the black colour coded look....
 




some pics as per your pm lazio ;) hope this is what you were after. im still not 100%, i like the silver and it ties with the paint better, but sometimes i think it clashes with the black lights and lower grill
 
nah im off work today and currently sorting out some stuff to ebay, so had the camera at hand. also was outside after test driving with new fk452's on, boy what a difference!

your post has prompted me to sell my spare grills and cracked old brake light, just put a post in the sale/wanted forum :thumbsup:
 
£387 fitted. the car is even better now, all the cabin rattles have gone, a lot less road noise. driving over rough roads isnt an issue now, drove over a pot hole i normally avoid as it crashed through the car, and it was like a little bump. the front end feels lighter, more supple and responsive (my rfts were quite worn on the front though)

havent done any quick driving yet, got to wait till ive covered a few more miles and took that slippy top layer off new tyres, but i can safely say i see why so many members go with these falkens! but upgrade you can do is dump the original bridgestone rft's
