Greetings (and coolant level question)

Hello all
Just taken delivery of my ex demo E89 and am so far very impressed! I had a good mooch around these excellent forums prior to purchase so I could gleam as much info as I could before sticking my hand in my pocket.

I'm making my through the owner's manual (as this is the first BMW I've owned) and learning stuff like how to get the oil level & reset the tyre pressure alarm but I have a query about the coolant level.

Am I right in thinking that the car has been over filled with coolant? The diagram suggests that the float level should be between to two blobs and mine is way off. Am I right and if so, how much of a problem is it?

johnnyx, welcome. Hopefully someone will clarify, that does look a little high, but not sure as it's the E89. However, I thought most cars have a venting system for the cooling system, so you should be okay. If you took delivery of it like that I'd just put a quick call into the dealer.
