Its the most ive ever had back so happy chappy here 
& more importantly can i sluice it out of the bank before mrs w glimpses the figure ?Can one adjust the amount withheld from a pay check in England? I for one actually hate getting a refund. As this means I gave an interest free loan to a bunch of loathsome politicians. The money I don't owe the government should be in my pocket. Not the governments.

Your payments by larger contractors have tax removed & then once a year you file a return with HMRC to offset any claim for expenses (vehicle/fuel/clothing/tools etc)
After 25 years i have always received a rebate but dependent on earnings & expenses as to the amount 8) This year just happen's to be a good one
Although if you weighed up no company pension , no holiday pay, no sick pay & zero chance of any redundancy pay its still a tightrope way to make a living :wink:
I was self employed for 10 years. So I know how it goes. But I was incorporated. So it was a little diff. The wife was the main shareholder and money was distributed to her shares as dividends or some such thing. I like my current job better. I retired at 53 and am a House husband now. You would be surprised at how fast I can clean house. Knowing that after ward I can jump in the Zed and go for a hoon. Tough duty. But somebody has to sacrifice. :evil:
