This is such a great place to be, had advice on a bust roof motor, instructions on how to fit a cruise control set up, spare set of 103s, a replacement door, drilled and vented disc setup and now a great set of 18" MV2s with matching tyres.

All now fitted just waiting on me getting round to fitting the new front fog light and the world will be a great place again.

Got to sort out the sensor on the roof but feeling good about the car once again.

Just a couple of questions I have that someone is sure to know the answers.

What pressure should I run the 18" setup at 40s and 35s and should I keep my spacers in place as well ?

Air bag light is on and it isn't the seat sensor as I can leave a bag on it and the seat belt warning is working so if its the air bag can it be replaced ?

Mr Wilks is your man for wheel advice, but i think im right in saying up to 20mm spacer for the rear and 15mm on the front is fine for MV2's but im sure Mr Wilks will be along soon to clarify.

Air bag light can be triggered if you have say unpluged the seats and turned the ignition on, or something similar, but a good independant can turn it off again . The air bag is expensive to replace if it is faulty but normally its a sensor that need replacing or resetting.

2.3 bar front & 2.7 bar rear.

The spacers quoted are allowable to my knowledge but bear in mind that a larger increase in track at the rear will make the car understeer more, which is why I chose to use 10mm all round. It doesn't look as aggressive as it could but it doesn't look like the wheels are lost in the arches anymore and I've retained the stock balance F/R.

Why don't you set your tyre pressures at the recommended settings listed on the sticker in your door jamb?

Just to clarify...., I said .... Up to 20mm rear and 15mm front ...... It all depends what your looking for, but a PM to Mr Wils is your best bet , he's the man on this subject .

With Mv2s / 108s 20mm rear 15mm front is a well used combo that works well , I wouldn't go over but you could go under
The rear 2.7 / 39psi is high from what ive found best but again , no set rule & its always good to get used to checking pressures & eventually finding the combination that suits yourself the best
A lot depends on whether runflat or not & also the different tyre brands
I prefer F 32-33 R 34-36 but others may not

I have 10mm on the fronts with 12mm on the rears and the pressures are way above the levels described. Full runflats and I think I will lower the pressures until it feel better planted as it feels skittish at present.

Thanks Mr W.

If the airbag has been triggered by the sensor, I have never unplugged the seat sensor, then it must be the resistance of the air bag itself ?
I can replace the door air bag without too many issues would it be the same for the door pillar ?

Your spacers are a good size in my opinion I would leave as is . As for your tyre inflation , basically the standard pressure is designed to put a large foot print of tyre in contact with the road giving you good grip . If you over inflate them, the tyre expands at the weakest point , so in this case across the width in the middle , as you over inflat effectively you raise the centre of the width section and make the outer edges of the width come away from the Tarmac , this giving you a smaller foot print on the Tarmac and thus less grip . Let them down to spec and you should see your grip level increase and the car become stable and without the skittish nature .

Any air bag unplugged , without disconnecting the battery for 15 mins before could have cause this , or any air bag being disconnected and then turning the ignition on with it disconnected will cause it . Of course if you haven't done any of this its could just be a gremlin in the system that needs checking with a code reader to see if it's just a reset that's needed before you buy anything . The air bag isn't difficult itself to change just could be expensive . I'd get it checked first .
