Great Driving roads

Hi is anyone planning a trip to the lake district anytime soon? If so you must go the the Hardknott pass. We have just been with friends they have an MX5 and we have the Zed and both cars coped really well and what a fantastic drive it was.The road is a single track with several passing points along the way. You have to climb into the clouds in first gear and even in the rain the trip is stunning and at times challenging to drive absolutely brilliant.

Along the way you take in some amazing views great wildlife and fantastic Hairpin bends combined with shear drop offs and the odd cyclist also climbing their way up this road. This road really is not for the faint hearted but once you get back down you cannot stop smiling and you want to go again.

Go to this place it really is a must especially in the Zed. Happy days.

Another fantastic road is the Evo triangle in north Wales, WOW but just out watch for tight bends and other petrol heads enjoying the delights of driving this stunning road. What another fantastic drive which is listed in the best driving roads in Wales. We went again with our MX5 friends on another great weekend away to snowdon.

Roll on the next one, cannot wait probably heading to the cotswolds so any hints or tips on good roads are very welcome.

Oh the joys of owning a fantastic roadster.
