Thanks Ship for the suggestion. I just have not had time to get to the task and I have to go to Portland Oregon this weekend so may not get to it for a little while. I am re-doing my media room and my wife’s craft room so I have to sneak some time away for myself before the boss boxes my ears.
What I was going to do unless you think it is a poor idea is to just hard wire off the back of the cigarette socket put the wire up to the clove box and hard wire to the FM transmitter. I do not know if it is hot when the key is off, but if it is, I have several switches and can switch it off when I am not using it. Or maybe put a female receptacle in the glove box. My fear is if it is hot all the time and out of sight, I may forget to pull it when done and run the battery down.
I have never looked at the fuse box, can you look at it without standing on your head. I would have no problems doing what you suggested, it is just more money and being stingy, I hate to part with more than I have to. Thanks for the heads up on the ProClip again you were correct and it was well worth the money.
