Government looking at launching speed cameras with noise sensors!

Anyone see this on BBC News this morning?
In a nutshell the powers that be are looking at installing noise activated cameras to catch those exceedind a certain noise limit (yet to be decided)!

Think I will hold off on silencer deletion and performance pipes for now, be a few sad bikers around I am sure.

It will never be a thing.
There are too many variables that could change the readings.
How could they prove which vehicle was the noisy one if two passed at the same time.
What if theres a bunch of teenagers passing it, there probably louder than most vehicles.
