Found the right one in the end, worth the wait, what a car, and perfect weekend weather for using it!

Gave it a 327 mile test run home and it is sweet.

Will have to join the stubby group now, and get posting on the forums with new questions I have

Big Thanks to forum member SGRG for taking me out and making my mind up on getting one!

Grats mate, nice example! I can't help but think I recognise this though?

Don't worry, nothing bad but would I be correct in thinking this was purchased in Eaglescliffe? The only reason I ask is my Grandparents live opposite. I just picked up a coupe at the weekend aswell to replace the Elise and already have a stubby on order.

Well done mate, lovely looking car. Making me feel bad now as I have yet to post my 'newbie' thread yet with pics!!

What extras has it got then, mileage, price etc? Glad to see you got the right transmission and colour :P

Only one day left of summer now though...

I'm 2 mods down (Stubby and Sound generator foam removal) and 2 to go (CDV removal and some new plain numberplates!)

How up to date is your sat nav? Also need to do that and somehow get USB connectivity for stereo...

Skoda is up for sale now:

Nice list of goodies there mate, cracking  I've only got the measly 17's on mine... :-x

I really wanted folding mirrors! TV!!! No watching er dodgey 'movies' whilst you're driving... I'm sure you've got the auto light sensing dipping rear view mirror, I really love that.

That's a great price aswell, is the mileage on 58k now tho what with the 327 mile trip back and no doubt lots of driving around grinning all weekend...?!

Let me know how you get on with your sat nav :poke: I'd be up for a cruise too :driving:

Very nice, I have a drive like yours to collect mine on Wednesday.

Will be fine as long as I come back in the new one and not my existing one.

Looks really good mate. Definitely recommend the gaptech module. Easy to install, let me know if you decide to get it i will help you install it. Happy driving.

Hi Woo7dy,

Updated the Sat Nav sucessfully last night, downloaded the firmware v32 from xoutpost.com and burned the disc with imgburn on default settings.

Went from SW 4-1/12 to SW 4-1/00 (100) which is the latest and possibly last firmware update for the sat nav reading the forums mentioned above. Tried with the 2010 map pack and works well, there is a perspective view you can turn on but havent done that yet.

Was a scary moment when it said loading CD Software then the screen went black, but it was just loading up :-)

Thought I would let you know as you were interested in this

Well done, always worth the wait, we looked at about 6 or 7 before taking the plung.

Enjoy.......................... :driving:
