Got my z4!

At the advice of my mechanic friend I've been reading a lot on these forums last few days, picked up my Z4 today!

Got it for £5,375, drives beautifully. Mechanic didn't see much wrong with it at all (a couple of small things but nothing difficult).

Not many extras, but drives beautifully. It just sticks to the road and makes awesome noises. Really really happy, it's so much fun compared to my old car (Peageot 306!) Body is near perfect for a 10yo car, 1 small dent, and a couple of scratches.

Last owner had warranty, just had a brand new alternator and something else. Previous owners have kept it very well and in good condition.

Was looking to spend up to £10k, but other ones I looked at were all 2.0 or autos, look at some for ~£8k which were in far worse condition. Pleasant to have a lot of money left over to do some upgrades maybe!

Nice buy for under 5.5k,cant believe how cheap these can be bought for now...hope u enjoy it,and u will no doubt want to mod it more than u had planned,after being on here,lol :D
 
Badges wrong way round because phone flipped image for some reason lol.

It's done 68k miles

Don't think I can lower it unfortunately, insurance wont cover it (only had a license for 7 months)
 
Well done tommy , same as me looking at 10k ended up with a 2003 2.5 again not much extras but for £4950 and 69k on the clock it's a weekend motor so sat navs mod cons not really needed I have 6 months warranty as peace of mind as well . Impressed with it so far engines are soo smooth and sound great when pushed . Good luck with it mate as with u I have a few quid to put some bits on it and some days off to get it up together even tho its pretty tidy, wanna check drain holes in roof fit aux out good wax and valet , could have started today but just wanted to drive it :driving:

Should have taken a decent picture of it today this is off a phone !
I did a few things thou today lubricated roof hinges , when fully down and 1/2up most seem to be in view also
I used wonder wheels cleaner today and they came up a treat wanna treat roof next and polish so that's for Tuesday weather permitting. All very exciting

Im presuming it was standard with interior ss a option and not added after
I thought I would end up with a black interior as most I looked at were, it looks great in the flesh and the bolster is unmarked as a lot looked like they had been around the world everyone that has seen it says I love the interior!

Like the silver and looks like its had a leather re trim too? Nice work.

Close up of the headrests , must try not to get a greasy head on them not from me ain't got much hair to worry about !
