As it was nice and sunny, and my new lens had arrived and we just collected Mrs PVR's new car, we drove down to Brighton.

Took a trial picture there:

Great PVR. Where did you get it from in the end and how much if you don't mind me asking. I'm in the market for one! Original, Sigma or Tokina?

Lovely pic  All I have to look at is ice, snow and overcast.... wanna trade ? :D

No thanks :D

Was nice sitting in the sun having a coffee on the beach though this morning. Was good timing though as when we left at lunch time, the place was a nightmare with traffic and people.

We went to Brighton today too :D

Got down there a little later than you though.... probably part of that lunchtime traffic you talk about

So did I miss the reveal of mrs pvr's new car then :? - argh edit, just seen it :D

Well your post just cost me a cool £280 PVR...

So inspired was I that I sought out a second hand Sigma 10-20mm minter with Hoya filter on eBay and it's being delivered on Wednesday. My D90 will be doing some overtime in the next few months I'm thinking. Already done a bit these past few weeks with the 18-105mm...

Still waiting for my Hoya filter to arrive so the pictures where taken filter-less.

gannet - went via Hove in and out, much better but getting out of the car park was a challenge.

Funny, but me and Mrs went to Southend on Sea for lunch today. 10-22mm came along for the ride too.

nice shots you have there inkey$

Cheers Petach. I'm still getting used to the Nikon 'layout' but so far so good. Can't wait to get the super wide angle on it

....er....having looked at my picture again, I cannot believe how small the car looks! Look at the Megane behind me, how huge it looks. How do I fit my 6' 3" and aherm 16.6 stone frame into red zed?

Nice. I had the Sigma 10-20mm for a while.

Great lens to take some really creative shots. My fave was taking it from just behind a car, with loads of background in shot.
