Hi all finally got my self a zed it was paza3 car 3.0 roadster picked it up today a couple off unforeseen hick ups but price negotiated and all's well .Pics will follow as soon as weather gets better.

A few things i would like to change, i would like to fit the m-sport mfsw i have seen a post on hear i think the price is about £220 and will need the cable too about £5 the car is 2003 iam i right this can be retro fitted using the original air bags etc?

The second is a stuby arial.

And finally get rid of the run flats. but that might have to wait for finance.(very bumpy ride and tram lines a bit .)

Carnt wait for the weather to get better so i can get that hood down.

Nice to see your going to make it your own. Have a great time in it.

I hope you tested the roof out to see if it worked :P

On a plus note, im gona be in the same position as you very soon after christmas

Good news on your new car. M multi function steering wheel from Joe at Sopers, Lincoln (the cheapest I've found and used by many on the Forum) is £255 with extra cable (only required if you Zed was manufactured pre september 2003) £250 without - 3 day order and delivery time. And yes its a straight swap for your air bag. Link below foe sideshowbob's excellent 'How to.....'

I've had my Z for a month now, first mod was a Stubby, second was a AUX connection and I've just fitted a M mfsw to my March 2004 3lt Z and it didn't have the extra cable, I didn't want to wait for the cable so I had to pay £17 for it from my local dealer.

All I need now is some decent weather, I've done less than 100 miles in mine so far :(

Congrats on your new motor,Ive actually been for a spin inside Paza's car, makes a lovely cabin noise due to the foam removal from thre sound generator! Plus you have the benefit of clear lenses being already fitted front and back, result  Now you just need some half decent wheather to get the full Zed experience :driving:

Stubby arial ordered went for the peugeot one and email sent to joe at sopers for a price for steering wheel.
