FINALLY! :D man was it worth the wait though
Some of you guys might remember back in early June I went out to adjust the handbrake on my Z and noticed some rust spots that really annoyed me ....so I ended up with this
So off went the wings to the media blasters to be totally stripped back.
Then fully repainted the whole car , fully under seal the inner wings and all cavitys and totally fill any small crease lines and panel seams with wax oil.
The end result is outstanding and the paint quality is flawless.
Wheels are next and a calliper freshen up should see it totally done!

AD08's are not to bad to be honest, you do feel a "nervousness" at first when there stone cold but a few miles n they come in a bit, in the wet there a world apart from the pilot sport 3 I had on, they are still good but the fully threaded Michelin is better.
I don't run the car over the winter so the overall grip ain't a big deal but I probably won't get them again just got them for a few track days this year before I painted the car. On track however they are totally unreal, grip like hell and have a nice feel on the limit with plenty o warning before they let go
 
Thanks guys, the black roof was a late choice but I love it, it makes the profile look lower and blends in very nicely with the tinted back window.
This is by a long way the best car I've ever owned so it's a keeper hence the work so far!
It looked great before but shows signs of it age but really glad now it's factory fresh again. :trampoline:

Cheers, coupes are really starting to get thin on the ground so being lucky enough to own 1 is a treat but to save 1 is a different feeling all together, never been BMW's biggest fan but the Z4 coupe has totally stopped me in my tracks.

So well built even after 10 years it took very little to turn it round ! Guess that down to build quality
