Its been a long time since iv been actively posting on here but I could be in the market for another Z4.

Thats not really the reason for this post but im just sharing my new car excitement with some fellow beemer enthusiasts.

My new car is a last of breed E38 Sport with individual spec, Aegean Blue with cream piped leather interior, Dark blue dash, dark blue carpets. Looks stunning and is in fantastic condition.

My commute is nearly 300miles twice a week so a wanted a nice barge to run the motorways in and this looks perfect, infact i like it so much its almost too good for that.

Its soo silky smooth and quiet its like traveling first class on the train, lovely bit of kit.

Unfortunately no pictures till the weekend as im at work all week and its filthy at the moment, cant wait to get her home for a good soapy session.

Not to bad, its the 728i so the lovely straight six and on my run it returned an easy 33mpg without trying to be economical. Happy enough with that.

My other car which is a 330cd Convertible gets 38mpg over the same journey. Thats the car I was thinking of selling and getting another zed for weekend fun.

Had chance to chuck a quick bucket over it and here she is.

Funny how a dull day can make it look a totally different colour to when the sun hits it. In the right light its actually a really bright blue.

Given her age and mileage im over the moon with the condition, beautifully smooth to drive if a bit of a handfull to park.

Most things are pretty sorted but for piece of mind im going to change all the oils, engine, gearbox and diff. There is a slight knock under braking which i suspect will just be the front control arms as they take a bashing on a heavy car like this so i will change them when i get chance. Other than that she will just be put to work on the motorways doing what she was designed to do, i.e. devouring big miles in silent comfort.

Hope you like.

That is a seriously nice luxo barge!.

I had the one before this one 730AiSE

Loved it, except for the winter fuel consumption on my 2 mile commute to and from home to work. 12MPG

Your looks in such good condition and the colour combo is nice too.

Is that a heated steering wheel button I can see on there too.. Love the 7s.

I had those seats in my old Range Rover - best seats I've ever sat in, in any car.
