Really hope none of you guys have ever had to deal with "Go Skippy" but I will give you a bit of background to the issues I am having with them. I should have checked their customer feedback to be fair and lesson learned.... 1.7/5 average customer review :thumbsdown:
Had to change my car insurance over winter as unfortunately my previous insurer would insure me on a 3.0L z4 and not a 2.7L boxster (under 25 n'all
). As you do, first point of call is comparethemarket.com and cheapest insurer came up as Go Skippy. Without thinking, I just went for it and bought the insurance. After winter passed and my winter car had to go, I had to be re-insured on the z4. Not only did I attempt to call them once and was on hold for near enough an hour before I gave up, I tried a further two times before I eventually got through. They dont give you enough options so 99% of the time you will go through one person who will then put you on hold to go to another department. £50 admin charge at the end of it as if the wait wasn't a punishment within itself... 
z4 comes in a lot cheaper with this insurer as well so I was expecting a refund my way...which would of been nice if I only received it! A further half hour wait before speaking to an advisor on the phone today only to be told it was processed wrong...and no apology... :thumbsdown:
This is my first ever complaint about an insurance company as you would usually expect it to be hassle free...a company to avoid at all costs...
