Goodyear Asymmetrics vs Michelin PS2 ZPs

I had my mind made up to replace my RFTs with Goodyear F1 Asymetrics, but I have been hearing some good things about the Michelin PS2 ZPs (which have the advantage of still being RFT - no need to worry about a mobility kit) over on another thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10272.

Any others have an opinion? I need to replace tires soon as I have a damaged sidewall on my left front.

Im getting like a stuck record here but the Michelin PS2 ZPs are great - huge improvement over the bridgestone runflat.

Ive had them for about 11 months now and have never regretted the change. Ride is improved, handling is improved and little/no tramlining :thumbsup:

I have not heard a bad review about them either :D

Just my opinion though :D

I've run PS2 and the Goodyear Asymmetrics. Both are fantastic tyres, with phenominal grip and feel, and break away very progressively near the limit. I'd say the Goodyears are a definitely worth considering, especially factoring in the cost (which seems to be about 2/3 the price of the PS2s, at least here in the UK).

What sort of price did you pay for the PS2s?

That is the only downside....

you sitting down?

£808 for a set of 4 from bestbuytyres who were the cheapest at the time, but after a scare on Saturday involving a screw in my tyre I've found that they are no longer the cheapest.

Luckily the screw didn't actually penetrate and cause any loss of pressure :D

Thank goodness for top down motoring otherwise I wouldn't have known about it...

Ouch. Called Costco and they quoted me £260 per tyre for the rears.

Neither. Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. Cheaper than both and just as good plus they look the dogs. I feel i should be on commission from Vredestein.

Oh yeh and for those that are interested they cost ;

265/30/19 £163.04 fitted
235/35/19 £136.96 fitted

Not bad i reckon.
