Anybody else going this year? I'll be there on Friday 13th, driving [early] from SE London in convoy with a friend and his GT86 for breakfast at The Kennels before heading next door into Goodwood.

///Milla is washed, clayed (!) and AG HD waxed (!!) so ready to go and I plan to dress in my best McQueen-era clothing with deerstalker hat and permanent roof down to complete the look :driving:

I shall be there on the Saturday helping to man the goodwood marshals club stand in the revival carpark . Anyone going do come and say hi

I wish I was going , have been before (2009) and the atmosphere, organisation etc etc is unlike anything else, incredible weekend.
We had a flight over the site in a Dragon Rapide on the Sunday, highly recommended if that's still on offer.

Well...I'm up....and its dark.

Off to meet friend with GT86, then its off to the Kennel Club for a 0730 breakfast before heading into the revivial. If you see a Sepang MR go past today make sure to wave

Hope the weather holds up for you - Goodwood is just along the coast from us and the weather today looks to be a bit unpredictable

Well, weather was a bit car although not persistent. Journey home took 3.5 hours (80 miles) due to insane traffic conditions at every turn. The nav kept telling me there was stationary traffic ahead and to divert. Even did it when I pressed divert?! Anyway, here are some pictures.

Looked a fun day out

I think a bit of damp helps at goodwood - in the summer months the fields aka carparks are dust traps

The wife and I were there on the Saturday, good fun day out, even if it were a little cold and drizzly!

Great fun to get dressed up for the day and see eveyone else dressed up, nearly everyone makes a fantastic effort. Even Tesco make a huge effort by bringing back Marathon Bars and Opel Fruits!

Got to see my other all-time favourite car(s), a whole field of GT40's! I was grinning ear to ear the whole of that race... Sadly the Adrian Newey car was as it is always miles ahead of everyone else...

Looking forward to next year, however will probably do the Friday first and spend that day looking around and the Saturday just watch the racing. There is just so much to take in!

Yes I was watching the GT 40 race also my all time favourite . Great event there ought to be others like it elsewhere throughout the year!!!?
