Goodwood Festival of speed

Thinking of going this year, although its quite a distance from Yorkshire.

ticket prices arent exactly cheap, especially as there will be 4 of us.

anybody know which are the best days to go, the non weekend days will by quieter I imagine, but do you miss out on the good stuff?

Sunday is the most manic and packed .Saturday quieter but only a bit
Friday also ....not surprisinly
Thursday is the Moving Motor show ,most of displays in place no cars up the Hill apart from the Manufacturers
taking customers in everything from Ferraris down but much much quieter and a lot cheaper
Most of the GP teams setting up also

Sunday is probably THE day to go but be prepared ..... difficult to see much on track without grandstand seats
but all the buzz
