Goodwood Brakfast club Sunday November 2 2014

Yes! I've got my fingers crossed for decent weather as I'd like to get there nice and early to get some photos of the cars arriving.

It's really great Lord March puts these events on, and a genuine pleasure to spend Sunday mornings at the circuit :D

No, i don't think so, a bit too far for breakfast, but heres the link to save others trawling for it

Yes you did - saw and heard you - looking and sounding good!

Haha excellent :) yours was looking very shiny... Mines in dire need of a clean at the minute! Should get a chance to give it a once over tomorrow hopefully!

Ed

Mine is need of a wash. Had hoped to do it today, but Mrs R, who usually shows little interest in matters Z, decided to take it to work. Must find time tomorrow!

I have sent you a PM with my mobile number. If you PM me yours maybe we can meet up on Sunday?

Rick

Went to Goodwood Breakfast meet this morning. Despite appalling weather On the way, it remained dry most of the time.

Met Ed Doe, fellow forumite who lives not far from me. Great guy, great company, a complete petrolhead with a lovely Zed Coupe. Had a great time.

Ed - Hope you got out of the field and splashed your way home safely!

I went too, good range of cars considering the weather. Some nice metal on show, sorry for poor quality snaps

For me the "highlight" was the Bentley Turbo with stripped out interior, racing seats and "touring car" spoiler on the boot. (Sorry,no pics as no camera until Father Christmas arrives.)

I would have joined you guys in Petworth, but only decided to go when I woke up at 6.55am and by then it was a bit late!

Great to meet you too Rick, pleasure to talk bobbins about cars all morning! Managed to get out of the carpark under my own steam too! As I said, it was a bit of a shame the weather was so awful on the drive; the road from Petworth to Goodwood is spectacular first thing on a summers morning!

Some lovely metal out there too, including one particularly brave chap who'd brought his f40 out! I'll pop my photos up tomorrow morning :)

Strangely half way through the morning, a spitfire taxied onto the first corner and parked up. Hard to beat that for a spectacle!
