My wing mirror popped out the other day and shattered. BMW wanted me to by the whole attachment for 90 odd quid not including fitting as they couldn't just supply the glass.
Eurocarparts said they don't stock it and the local BMW "specialist" offered me the same part that BMW did for the same price.
So stupidly I went to Halfords and guess what, they can order the part in.
I looked a bit shocked when he said it would take 5 days to arrive so he told me to go straight to their supplier who was just round the corner on another industrial estate. He didn't have the part but will have it by Thursday. Would have been tomorrow if I'd have got there before 4pm.
I don't think Halfords would be too impressed that their employees are sending customers to their suppliers but after BMW's lack of help I call it Excellent service!
