Good body shop London - MStyle

Front end respray is on the list of things I want to do to mine, along with a deep scratch on the top of one of my rear wings.

How are liking the Storm gearknob? I've been up at their workshop this morning, Bilal is a top bloke

MStyle did the front end respray and repair for £300 and the rear scratch for £120 incl.

Yeah - loving the Storm gear knob. Actually forgotten I'd fitted it when I got back in the car this morning; a forgetfulness that was rudely interrupted when I went to change gear - solid aluminum does get quite cold doesn't it! Considering buying one of those ipod socks to keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer :D

What were you up there for today? Totally agree, Bilal is an absolute diamond. Was late delivering my gear knob over Christmas due to his new baby/weather/flu etc but was always communicating and updating me. You certainly notice good service and I'm toying with the idea of a matching handbrake handle now 8)

Hey Inkey,

Have you got your car back yet? I need my front left bumper fixed for some relatively deep scratches. I was wondering how much the MStyle folks charged you to fix it if you don't mind me asking?

Cheers

SGRG - Was £420 all in. Drop the car off. Front end respray, rear end local repair.

Thanks Inkey! That sounds like a bargain. I was quoted £150 +vat just to fix the damaged area below by BMW rec. bodyshop:

Seems a bit excessive. Will call mstyle for a quote.

Go for it SGRG. As I said above to Skillick, it was £300 for full front end respray AND repair. Was quoted £600 for new primed bumper from BMW and didn't bother asking for a paint quote. The damage in your pic should be a local area respray unless you want them to do the whole front end.

Keep us posted on how you get on.

They had my car in last week for coolant/brake fluid and an interim oil/filter change, but the forgot to reset the service clock for the brake fluid, so I popped up to get them to do that.

The Storm knobs do get bloody cold!! I'd suggest asking Bilal about the leather cover for them, I asked him today but he wasn't sure whether he had any left. It's a custom made leather hat in black with the SM logo embroidered on top, another well made bit of kit. Elasticated round the bottom and with a non-slip lining. I had one before and stupidly sold it with the car! lol

Good sounding solution. If he manages to find any can you let me know and I'll drop him an email for one too.
