Hey guys,

After buying one HPI check, doing the deal and the deal falling through I then purchased 5 AA HPI checks but bought the first car I used with the checks so I have 4 going spare.

So if your looking to purchase a vehicle please give me a shout and I will happily provide you with a code to check the car out.

If your feeling generous you could also give a donation to the forum

Thanks guys, just doing my bit. Shame for them to go to waste.

I also should say that if anyone is selling and wants to do a check that they can then forward the report via a link to a prospective buyer then just ask.

I know that Pistonheads offers a similar service with HPI, although we can't in the same way it always shows you definitely have nothing to hide......not that anyone on here does :)..........well not when it comes to their car!

I meant to say, what did you buy?

Petrol Supercharged V8 Range Rover Sport. Few years old, all the toys for doing the ikea runs, going camping, clay pigeon shooting etc

Not that the Z4 didn't cope with those tasks.......but the going out into the back of beyond with the Z4 terrified me due to really bad or no roads at all and the fact it's so low I almost was wiped out by 4x4s coming in the opposite direction which couldn't see me!

Still got my Zed. That's going nowhere apart from hoons

And better the forum getting something for them.

Lovely gesture, a few weeks too late for MrsMj2k.

RRS is still on the bucket list for me, need a car for a possible career change & 1 mile commute (when weather means I can't walk), but thinking with that abuse I need to lease a car vs the long term effects of the engine never warming up!

Hadn't realised you can buy multiple checks, or would have done similar.

I managed to get 30mpg doing 65-70 on the M6 with a few blasts chucked in which I was rather surprised with but I'm sure I'll have that knackered in no time with trying to get out of Edinburgh.

Have to say that it's a lot of car for the money and as a occasional car it's perfect. Not quite sure why we needed rear screens but that was a requirement not stipulated by me I add.

They offer usually 3 or 5 checks for £29.99 depending on who you use. Didn't expect to need more than one with the first car but when that fell through and we started looking again I thought better to be safe and not waste £20 a time if the same thing happened again.

Oh and I've got 2 checks left :)
