Impressive maybe but not sure its the best way to promote a car you're looking to sell at top dollar :wink:
 
Good show, santa pod is epic fun. Used to run a few bikes down it when I got the chance. Tear out a rear tyre in a morning.. Throw it in the van, camp out, get drunk, talk shite... Go home happy next morning.

You mention the M3 is supercharged? He wasn't that far behind at the start and still couldn't catch you? That surprises me?!

1400kg Z4 3.0i should be getting low 14s if not breaking into 13s with some ecu remaping. Mine is standard it only ran 220bhp as well on the dyno a few months before. I ran the same car few weeks before at Stratford 1/4 track and was getting 14.7s on 19" alloys subwoofer in the boot. Then 14.2s a few weeks later on 18" alloys no subwoofer. I had my subwoofer at least 20kg still in boot and 19" alloys on again at santapod. That's the reason for slightly slower times so there's weight to loose and time to gain easily. I noticed there wasn't any real difference in times with the roof up or down as well maybe 0.2s in it. I'm going try one last time to break 13s on 23rd July at Stratford again. That track had better traction it felt I raced a members white E89 28i at santapod. He got a 13.7s the 2nd fasted in our Z group that day only beaten by 0.2s a e89 Z4 35is..

I did 15s in my heavier E46 325ci last year at santapod bmw show I did 14s in my E46 330ci convertible the year before that. A good M3 with good launch should be getting 13s. He didn't run good and the left lane was terrible for grip that day my times were 15s in that lane very bad. One lad even spun out and crashed into the hit the wall wrote off his car in that let lane. So I'm not thinking my Z4 is faster than a supercharged M3. It just was that time on a run.
 
Agree with the above, I got 14.2s out of a completely standard e36 328 so I'd definitely expect any 3.0 z4 to do better than that.
