Going Commando when soiled, anyone share my dilemma?

A grubby & dirty Zed is not something I want to go topless in and while it's not my daily driver, it twists my arm more often than not join me for the journey to & from London... where of course it sometimes gets caught out by the weather, ends up filthy... & then the sun comes out for the journey home, frak!!!

The dilemma is... drop the hood & not give a hoot, or hide in the cocoon?

What do you do...

Hood down - you shouldn't have to ask ! :chairfight:

But I get where you're coming from... I just clean it ASAP...

Feels a diffferent car when it's all sparkly... & whether it's the Zed or other exotics feel they loose part of that aura when they're covered in grime.

... never cleaned a car so much in my life, ever...

x2 - and now we have a hosepipe ban I don't want to go out when it's wet

I need to pull myself together - think I'll 'go out to the shops' for half an hour :D

The car is there to be driven. With Scottish weather and roads as they are, if I only had the top down when it was clean I'd have been as well buying a coupe!

Nope, sorry.... but a really grubby dirty Zed in topless configuration just looks like you don't care for it. How long does it take to give it a quick clean before dropping the roof?

They definitely do lose part of their charm and aura when covered in grime... IMO. :hattip: :D

...but if you've driven to work in the morning and it's gotten dirty, then the sun shines on the way back, you've just got to do it 8)

Never have the roof down on a dirty car........I'd clean in, even after work with rapid detailer. Whole car takes 15 mins....

Roof down unless the storm's got a name.
:D

Haha, genuinely laughed out loud. Definitely the right attitude to have!

Topless even if she's filthy, that's what I say!
