So I have heard there are some people who can change the lovely central locking relays on the GM5 module but are there any close to northamptonshire?? I’m willing to travel but me being me, I only have tomorrow off and want to get it done then.
UPDATE **HUGE thanks to Merv at Autoelectron**
so I set off this morning at 6:45 to Autoelectron in Harrogate on a whim not even knowing if it could be sorted then. I stopped off at a service station at 8:00 to call and see if it was ok to come in and get it sorted and it was no problem at all. Got there at 10:00, whipped the GM5 module out and asked just out of curiosity if there was anything he did with resetting the airbag gateway timing as this was also not working. He said he would have a look and off I went to costa for half an hour.
Came back and the module was fixed, in and working and his laptop was plugged in and mid sorting the airbag light out.
SORTED... car unlocks perfectly, airbag light goes out, I can now drive round with the passenger seatbelt not needing to be plugged in.
