I think someone else has to fit them for you... or are we talking about a different kind of gimp mask?

Turn it inside out, bite on the mouth piece, stretch skull cap over your bonce, pull down, zip up back... roof down, foot down :ninja:

Have you got a ball to shove up its exhaust too?

I don't think it's a ball he'll be shoving up the exhaust :|

There's loving your car, and there's luuuurving you car ey, Andysat

Tell me this is a joke thread - you've not really bought a gimp mask for your Zed??? How about 'open bin & dispose' or 'return to sender & get refund'! Unlike Marmite, does anyone else love them?

No it goes over the hoops
Well, sounds like your talking about the OEM BMW wind screen which fits over the roll hoops. However, I have seen the car bra referred to as a gimp mask.

 -my bad i thought it meant the leather mesh type windbreaker

In any event: fitting is really easy. Six straps, one of them goes on the side of each hoop, two go on the back of each hoop. The hooks are secured between the plastic parts around there and adjusted either by velcro or just pulling on them (depends per strap). Best fitted when roof is halfway open. If there are any straps at the front (that is near your speakers behind the seat) you have fitted it backwards. Can't go wrong five minutes job!
