M MRol Member Apr 8, 2008 #1 I have been told that in an M6 if you hit the limiter at 155 and change down to 5th gear, you can then acceleaate up to 170mph plus. Does any one know if this is possible in the Z4 manual cars? Not that I ever go any where near that speed.

pvr Lifer South East UK Apr 8, 2008 #3 Yep, I had 163 Mph in my old Z4 3.0 (GPS speed). That was in 6th gear by the way,
