Getting my Zed back tomorrow!

Hi all,

Not much of a conversation point other than to pre-empt the inevitable pictures upon getting my Z4 back from the repairs from the little incident I had in it 10 weeks ago (talk about a long old process huh!). Needless to say, I'm excited to have my car back - it's been so long and I've been stuck driving a (gutless but economical) Toyota Aygo for all of that time, that having it back is going to feel like a brand new car all over again! Let's hope the weeks of contesting things with the insurance company and going out to seek my own quote has been worthwhile. Can't wait to have the power back, and the roof down given all the lovely weather we've been having!

On another note, I've got a passenger side xenon headlight with functioning angel eye modifications to it to sell, in very good condition. Any ideas on value?

Yeah I reckon so! They've resprayed the whole front end (2nd hand parts) and the paintwork looks great to me. Slight disagreement on prices of some additional work (a new battery.. the old one was on the way out but they didn't consult me about it) but think we've worked it out! Really nice to have it back!

My joy has been somewhat short lived. Turns out there's a coolant leak somewhere - either it's from poor assembly or damage to the cooling system somewhere! Lost about a litre and a bit from three and a half hours driving, so it's not awful but could get worse and have no idea what the root cause is! Will have to investigate a bit more deeply, but back to the repairers it seems.. :?
