Germany - Autobahn speed limit

I’m down here in Baden Wurtemberg and at breakfast this morning a German fella was talking about a blanket 130 km/h max speed limit he says that has been introduced in Rheinland Pfalz - I’ve looked on the ‘ net but can’t find anything?

If it is true then I will be thankful of Brexit for the very first time as I did a little more than 130 kph

There isn’t a blanket, but you have to chose the roads to avoid the motorway stretches where there are limits.

You are right about the cameras, I didn’t even slow down last time in the end as there are sudden limits of something like 120 with a camera above it which I passed with 260 km/h. Many flashes, never any tickets.

I was generally observant of the limits when posted - but as soon as the // sign showed I was off - well until mrs K started squawking :rofl:
