Genuine Wheels

Currently at Tyremen having the front wheels balanced, and they said that the ellipsoids aren't genuine / aren't for the car...

Hmmm...

Their argument is the alloy has a spigot ring, which shows its not designed for this car but for many cars.

The alloys are stamped with BMW and BBS, and are corroded, so pretty sure they're genuine BMW, but what of the spigot ring?

Also, they commented that the 12mm spacers are not hubcentric as they only have a small lip for the alloy, just a few mm, but they say they should be much larger for the wheel to sit on. Anyone able to confirm this?

Thanks

The 107s were only made for the Z4 so they cannot have a spiggot ring unless as the garage says they are not genuine.
Having said that I've never come accross a copy of one :?

Note, there are BBS and BMW stamps on the inside of the spokes.

They only balanced the fronts, but both had them i think. May go some way to explain minor steering wobble at speed?
