Genuine CSL's on a E86 Z4M Tyre & Refurb help

Morning All,

I have recently managed to get my hands on a set of genuine CSL's which are painted black and slighty tired looking. Anyone got any good recommendations for refurbs? I have noticed a company called Lepsons come up a lot on Google but this would Involve sending the wheels on a courier.

Secondly, I am going to purchase a new set of 4 tyres for the car please can someone confirm the ideal tyre size?

Fronts 19 x 8.5j et44 - 235 / 35 / 19
Rears 19 x 9.5j et 27 - 255 / 35 / 19

Are those tyre sizes the best? car is totally standard

Cheers

Would of course depend on where you are located, but I (and a few others I know) have successfully used We Restore Alloys, in Scotland.

Tyre sizes for CSLs, I believe the below are the standard (Mine are this size)

Front: 235/35/19
Rear: 265/30/19

My MC came fitted with 19" CSL Reps the same sizes and offsets as OE CSLs and the tyres were the sizes in "probocop"s post.

I think a 255 on a 9.5J might look a bit "stretched".

I've gone back to 224s and a firm called "My Alloys" in Basingstoke did a great refurb on them. If you give an idea of where you are you might get some more suggestions.

Thank you both for the reply’s,

I will look into the tyre sizes mentioned by both you guys,

I am based in the Lichfield (Staffordshire) but I’m happy to travel or courier the alloys for a good service. Not sure if most places can match the original BMW colour or will they go a standard silver?

Cheers

Ive had a good number of genuine CSLs & rep CSLs , always fitted 255 35 19 to the rear 9.5j simply because the driver sits almost on the back wheel so the extra mm of rubber appeals .
Ive never considered a 255 35 19 on a 9.5j at all stretched , 265 30 19 is used by many , i really don't think one or the other is 100% right or wrong .
My last ZM with gen CSLs 235 35 fronts / 255 35 rears ( Dunlop SportMaxx RT2)

Thank you for the help Mr Wilks. Currently a deal on Black Circles for Michelin MPS 4s's so i'm going to get these ordered.

Will I need different Lug bolts when changing from my 18's to the CSL's?

Cheers

I can vouch for A1 Wheel Renovations based in Wolverhampton.

Top work on my R32 alloys and a set of alpinas I had done.

I’ve used Wheel Perfection Ltd in Telford, very happy with the service & end result.
