Genuine centre caps....or not?

Bought some ‘supposedly’ genuine centre caps from a private seller on EBay.

One is in a genuine looking BMW parts bag, the other three were wrapped in bubble wrap.

Two of them look ‘stained’ almost like water marks for want of a better expression, but I can’t work out if they have a film on them that needs to be removed... and if this is just a film that needs removing?

It’s a bit like sellotape if it is... in that I can’t find end edge :headbang:

Er, I haven’t said how much they were, why would you assume they were cheap?

Been refunded Anyway so all good.

I think they are genuine ones, just two weirdly marked. Going to have a little go by hand with some megs 205.

It’s when you said private seller on EBay, that made me suspect they were cheaper than buying from Bmw otherwise you’d have just purchased from your dealer :?

Ok, it was chap who bought some from his dealer but left them sat in a kitchen draw.... doesn’t have any previous sales for these in his feedback.

I’ve cleaned one and it’s 95% better... very slight marks now if viewed very close up, in bright light and from a very acute angle... not going to be an issue on the car
